Greetings from the Newspaper Museum. We are a 501-c based out of Albany dealing with historical documents. This museum has been under construction since 1962 with the Kennedy assassination.
We have newspapers dated to 1812 on a runaway saved, which is very interesting. We gave East Hampton, Long Island back its history from 1927 to 1979, over 2,000 newspapers. Every year we appear at the U.S. Airpower on Memorial Day weekends. We also appear at the military encampment in Bethpage Village for the Army. There are 63 libraries in Suffolk County.
We have displayed our newspapers over 40 libraries and many asked us to return. Also at Assisted Living, Men's Clubs, Lions Clubs, the Masons, Kiwanis, and many others. We did a show in Maryland for the American Legion, 75th anniversary for Pearl Harbor, World War II.
Of 268 full newspapers, 1933 to 1945, we have been in the newspaper 18 times. Newsday calls me the Prince of Print. I've been interviewed with Walk Radio twice with Jack Ellsworth.
Our TV show is Newspaper Museum Comes to Smithtown. We have been working with school systems and they are very interested and willing to work with us. We have the greatest history book in newspaper format, over 60,000 from 1690 till today.
The Newspaper Museum was invited aboard the aircraft carrier Intrepid in New York Harbor. For the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, we were asked by New York Post to do a speech for the 50th anniversary of the World's Fair.
Because I have the newspaper covering, we are in touch with the others museums such as Frontier Museum in North Dakota, where we could trade newspapers from 1880 on famous Indians like Fitting Bull and Crazy Horse.
We're covering 326 years of American history. We have found, we have the only functional newspaper museum in the United States, We have the only functional newspaper museum in the United States, only surpassed by the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian, who do not display their papers. If interested in purchasing this museum, please contact Michael Tesoriero at 631-512-1518, President and Founder, the Prince of Print.
